Fondazione PUPI ets
The PUPI Foundation, founded in 2001 by Javier Zanetti and his wife, Paula, works to comprehensively protect the rights of children, adolescents, and families in vulnerable situations. Based in Remedios de Escalada, in the province of Buenos Aires, the foundation develops comprehensive community interventions through the Child Care Center, the Mother Teresa de Calcutta Community Cultural Center, and the Carla Mariani House.
The foundation focuses primarily on the La Traza neighborhood, home to a population of approximately 5,000 people, often living below the poverty line, addressing issues such as teenage motherhood, substance use, and domestic violence.
Thanks to an interdisciplinary team of professionals, the PUPI Foundation promotes educational, cultural, sports, and health initiatives, supporting children and young people from early childhood to adulthood. In over twenty years of activity, it has developed an intervention model recognized for its effectiveness in strengthening families and fostering community solidarity.
The goal remains constant: to create equal opportunities and defend the rights of every child.
